Since joining the financial industry in 2007, I have guided clients with warmth and curiosity through the adventures of their lives. Along the way, while working in both mature companies and new ones, I have observed and implemented different business models and planning structures that are often needed at different stages of life.
I see a parallel between my early life as a sportfishing lodge operator and guide and the work that I do today. My role with Legacy Family Office is essentially the same as it was when I guided my sportfishing clients; help them achieve their goals by guiding them where they need to be at the right time. That moment when a client realizes they’ve achieved what they set out to do is when all the hard work, careful planning and knowledgeable positioning finally pays off!
The Legacy Family Office team has a holistic, cooperative approach in serving our clients. Legacy is unique in that we serve whole families, and the families we work with come in all shapes and forms. My contribution to the team and our clients is a deep cross-industry knowledge of investments and planning, which allows me to explain how everything comes together to drive the results our families want.
Outside of the finance focus of my career and when not at the office, I can often be found with my wife either exploring BC’s wilderness or immersed in the world of music. These are two passions that we share and they both provide us with inspiration and enjoyment, whether we are hiking to and camping in some remote corner of the province, or writing and playing music together in our home.
